Man I took so many down votes over fetterman. I never bought into his bullshit. I used to point out he was a silver spoon nepo baby who is useless as a person without his family connections. I used to say that his hoodies and shorts in the house was nothing but a distraction over his lack of substance or honesty. “Hey everyone look at my shorts, im totally one of you!”

    I feel vindicated

This is why America doesnt have instant recall, outside California, where astroturfed campaigns use it to benefit business interests.

Fuck that quisling fuck. And I sent him money before his election. He can kiss my ass from now on. I’m giving money to anyone who primaries that fucking fuck.

Fetterman has been and will be a traitor to the US like the rest of Maga. The fact that they keep saying he’s a Democrat bothers the shit out of me.

They wouldn’t dare. That would be impolite. We need to reach across the aisle, and that means capitulating to everything the Republicans want. They’ll tire themselves out at some point.

Right? Like I feel like I’ve read how he’s “broken ranks” like 93 times already.

I think the list of times he’s voted with the Democrats would be shorter/more notable.

You can’t “break ranks” with a party you don’t identify with. He’s MAGA. Has been for years.

He’s not breaking ranks for this, he’s been standing on the other side of the party line for a while.

It would be newsworthy if Fettermen took any stance popular with a dem voting base at this point.

I’m in the same boat with you. I voted for him in the primary and I voted for him in the senate election. I gave money to that asshole.

But I don’t regret it because I voted for what I thought was the best option at the time. I voted for a progressive candidate against a centrist Democrat. I voted for a progressive candidate over a whackjob celebrity conservative. And I’ll keep doing that in every local, state, and national election, and candidates will know that’s the path to winning my vote.

I didn’t vote for the guy or the party, I voted for the platform, and next election I’ll be voting for someone else. This piece of shit won’t survive a primary challenge, and for that I’m optimistic.

To think he was out there acting like AOC and Bernie were his spirit guides before he got elected. No integrity.

I feel this way sometimes, then remember what the alternative was and don’t feel as bad. (To save the lookup for those that don’t know, Mehmet Oz was the republican candidate in 2022).

You shouldn’t. We were all fooled. His actions don’t reflect on you.

I’m glad I left the state before the election so I couldn’t vote for him, otherwise I totally would have.
